Your ride her till she bucks you... or you don't ride her at all.

Gentlemen,

It has been a great season. We experienced a tough loss last night at the hands of Tenacious O. We lost 40-20 as Henry Talbot and Steed Carson had a tough night and Tenacious O turned out to be a group of excellent finishers. That being said, the night was not without its highlights.

  • Jay Tayloe managed to take a pass on a fast break and finish a deceivingly quick "up and under lay up"

  • Paul McClure set the single game C league record for pass deflections. During a leisurely stroll the gym, a reminiscent Coach Peters was heard saying, "What in God's green earth is the C League?"

  • Finally, Earl the Pearl gave us some of the best advice on ball movement that we will take to our next season.

Season Gentries:

Most Improved Gentry: Battle Williford

Largest Wellspring of Passion: Steed Carson

Most Diplomatic: Jay Tayloe

Wisest: John T. Fisher

Most Active: Bubba Halliday

Play of the Year: Battle Williford and John Albritton

Dad of the year: Earl the Pearl.

Thanks a lot for the memories and keep your jersey for next year when we play again. I will end this post with the phrase that Jay Tayloe used to describe our season. "Ball Movement".
